If you’re buying this for a child, maybe it’s okay. They have to refill, in a DEEP bucket of water, everytime they shoot it. That’ll slow them down which is good.
But if you wanted it, as I did, for a gentle way of persuading dogs to 1. stay out of my garden and 2. stay out of my pond, forget it. Shoots 70 feet? Yeh, right. Even my very athletic husband couldn’t get it to do that. Or even 50 feet. Or even 30 ft.!
Useless.

Stream Machine 24-Inch Water Launcher, Colors May Vary
This squirt gun is very simple. You put it point down in a bucket of water, pull back the plunger, aim and shoot. It would be a lot of fun outside or at the beach. However, it does tend to drip out all the water before you get a chance to shoot, so I can’t give it top marks. I don’t have experience with other super squirt guns, so I don’t know if that is common to others.

I got this gun to keep my chickens off of my porch. It has worked quite well, and is fun too. I don’t know if it meets it’s claims to shoot 70′ or not, but it is fun nonetheless.

ultimate water warrior weapon, i used it to de-ice my car door from the window of my kitchen, the range of this device is more like 35 feet but if you install a smaller nozzle you can get farther than that. I liked it how the end cap is threaded and can unscrew it.

I rated this “toy” 5 out of 5 stars on “educational value” as a good firm push and a well timed “NO!” or “Stop Digging!” will stop my Labrador puppy from digging now, and I mean right now. From my 10 foot high deck, I can easily reach out 45 feet with a solid stream or a quick burst.
